WORD FROM THE DEPUTY PRINCIPAL

Ranked top academically among the schools in Nyamira North sub county, our school has also done exemplary well and deservedly takes top rank in discipline. Largely , this can be attributed to a savory tripartite relationship between the staff , the parents and the students.

At Matongo Boys High, we believe in the immeasurable values of the philosophies of working hard and working smart. My office in conjunction with other departments have readily embraced these and incorporated them in our day to day discipline and academic activities.  Further, we have also brought onto board the G & C to enhance timely behavioral and academic intervention. The outcome has been satisfactory.

The thirst to recapture the former glory of this giant institution has bred among every soul in the compound an inflexible spirit. This is our lifeline. Challenges have been withered, odds broken, attitudes reverted, focuses and strategies revisited and above all efforts revitalized. The indolent and grossly indifferent individuals have either shaped up or shipped out. Admirably, many have fallen among the latter and we thank God for that.

It is my sincere hope that with the support of all the stakeholders, our school will continue to soar higher and higher just as it is spelt out in our school motto of aiming high.  May savvy continue defining the behaviors of our boys as it has been the trend, hitherto.
